On Saturday, November 22nd, Dalman Jump Co. was proud to take part in the Horseless Horse Show at the South Florida Charity Horse Show at Wellington International.
The exciting event included a costume contest and horseless speed jumping round, where ten teams of three competed for two first-place prizes. The prize: kid jumps donated by DJC.
The horseless speed jumping round was made up of all DJC kid jumps and required the teams to compete in a relay-style race. The participants were not allowed to run– cantering through the course and over the jumps only!
The course started over the DJC pillar jump that included a bright yellow plank, asking riders to pay attention to their feet right off the bat. It continued in a bending line to a cow-themed jump, then it was another bending line to the stunning lily jump. From there, riders were asked to make a tight roll back to the wave jump, then gallop to a bounce combination made out of the flower jump and brand new dachshund jump. Then, it was one last all-out gallop to the heart jump before the final timers.
In the end, two teams– the winners of the costume contest and winners of the jumping round– took away their very own DJC kid jumps as a highly sought after prize. The Pink Pony Club trio took home the prize for the costume contest, while the Minion team won the jumping round.
DJC is proud to be a part of such a fun and exciting event! We are already looking forward to next year’s event and our other kid jump event: the highly anticipated Kid Jump Grand Prix at USEF Pony Finals.
